They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. He says this will happen to them at the Millennium.
And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.
Isaiah 61:6 NIV
You will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of the nations.
Understand Peter, putting all these verses together and understanding the will of God for his Church. This is fulfilled in the church age through the Church.
Israel will get this when Jesus returns, but the Church already has this.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9 NIV
You were called for the display of his splendor. These are no mere words; these truths have been given to us as real treasures. Meditate upon them; use them to live your everyday life; if you see from that perspective, that is the life you have; that will be your everyday life.
It’s not something you struggle to do.
Don’t work at it!
You’re not going to become what you already are!!!!
Don’t work to become what you are. It will be an effort in vain.
Here is what God expects of us:
God showed the promised land to the children of Israel and told them to dispossess the land and not to make treaties with them.
Why? Because you are a holy people unto God. You are different.
Their whole lives were centered around the Temple because that was where the presence of God was. Their lives centered around the God of Israel.
What is your personal service to God?
Have you ever thought about it?
You? How do you serve God?
Is there anything personal about what you do?
THE KINGDOM OF GOD – THE STRUCTURE OF THE KINGDOM
Who are those in the Kingdom of God?
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Hebrews 12:22 NKJV
Notice He calls it a City. It is the city of the Living God; it is called the Heavenly Jerusalem, and it has myriads of Angelic Beings.
to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Hebrews 12:23 NKJV
We are registered there. God himself is there. Jesus is there. As of now, the spirits of all righteous men of all ages are there.
That is the City. John describes this same city for you in Revelation 21 and 20.
When the scripture says “The bride of Christ,” it doesn’t mean the Church. It is THIS CITY!
The Church is just a part of it; the Bride of Christ is this Kingdom.
The Church is just a part of the Kingdom of God. God has structure.
The Church is very special in God’s plan.
When the General Assembly for the United Nations is called, it’s not every citizen that goes. There are reps! It’s their reps.
In the Kingdom, there is also a general assembly; those in the Church and joint heirs with Christ are different. The more you know the life he has given you, the better you live it.
In living in this world, there has to be a daily consciousness until you are unconsciously consciously working in it!
Realize that you live in another world; you carry the atmosphere of your world into this earthly world.
You are born again!
You have a new life in Christ!!
You are not from here!!! You are not from here!!!
When you were born again, your human life was supplanted with a new life. You are not from here!
In the Kingdom, you are not just chosen into it; you are born into it.
When the Children of Israel went out of Egypt, they went with their own atmosphere; they went with their own cloud. They went through the desert, and they were shielded from the heat of the daytime. As they moved, their atmosphere moved with them. At night, when the desert was so cold, the fire of God gave them warmth.
Your own atmosphere is more real, much more spiritual, powerful, and richer. You carry your own atmosphere of the Kingdom, so when you are at your office, you are playing their game with your own set of rules.
Each one of you is described as a miracle worker! You have to believe it!!!
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
1 Peter 2:9
This is a special race!
The chosen race!!
Purchased with the blood of Jesus!! Special people!!!
You are special; you shouldn’t rush for a bus.
The world is yours; walk like royalty.
Don’t forget who you are; don’t let anybody rob you of who He’s made you.
There is a way the rich eat; eat that way. Never forget who you are.
Jesus already gave you honor; if you don’t believe in the honor that he gave you, at least believe in his honor and that he sent you to go in his name; that’s a good place to start.
Say to yourself, “I am special, and I’m being treated specially, including in persecution.”
Display God’s virtues and perfections; you are a miracle worker!
When you arrive, the answer/solution has come!!
Things that would not work will start working because you are there!
Because of you, that company is blessed!!
You entered that place with Angels!
Because of you, that city is blessed; that family is blessed!!
No, panicking; when you show up, everything is alright!!
That’s the life he gave you.
This is a military thing! Understand it!!
When you show up, demons are at attention. They don’t know what you are about to say; you may not see them, but that’s what happens. The only ones they don’t give that regard to are those who misuse the name of Jesus or who disregard his name.
But for you, when you arrive, they are at attention, Or they panic. They tremble at your presence.
“Now that I’ve come, everything is alright. No panicking, no shaking. No fear. Everything is alright.”
Jesus has made you a miracle worker. Don’t make light of his word.
I am called to perform miracles!
To do things supernaturally!!
Abraham did. Isaac did. The prophets did. Jesus did. The apostles did, and I do!!!
