Scholarship Description
McCall MacBain Scholarships are fully funded for the entire duration of your master’s degree or professional program. The scholarship also covers your living costs while you are studying; they’ll also give you an allowance if you have to move to Montreal.
You will be supported by a mentor, a coach, and advisors if you receive this scholarship; you’ll be guided and supported by them. The program is designed to help you develop your leadership skills and also explore your interests.

McCall MacBain Scholarship Details
Applications for the cohort of 2024/2025 are now open. McCall MacBain Scholars will be selected from up to 20 Canadians and 10 international applicants for the 2024/2025 cohort.
You are eligible to receive additional awards as a McCall-MacBain scholarship applicant. Candidates who excel during the interview will receive regional awards and close to 100 finalists.
McCall MacBain Scholarship Eligibility
You must meet these criteria to be eligible for McCall MacBain scholarships:
- You’re a student who is on track to complete your first Bachelor’s Degree by August 2025
- You have earned your first Bachelor’s degree within the last five
- If you have a bachelor’s degree and are under 30 in 2024 but earned it more than 5 years ago.
- McGill recognizes a Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent)
For admission to the McGill Master’s Program, you will also have to meet minimum requirements in terms of your degree and language proficiency.
