University of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarships Details
Students who qualify for the scholarship will receive it automatically upon enrollment; the scholarship will be directly applied to the tuition fees.
The Excellence Scholarship for African students studying in English cannot be combined with an Entrance scholarship.
This scholarship program is among the most generous in Canada; the scholarship program rewards your academic achievement not only before University but every term you study full-time at the University. The new scholarship allows African students who study in English to access a number of pilot programs at three faculties, all for a significant reduction in tuition.
The Excellence Scholarships are awarded in a competitive manner among the top candidates who have an admission average above 80% and apply by April 2024, and whose admission has been processed by April 15, 2024. Candidates who have chosen the University of Ottawa as their first choice will be given preference; the recipients must begin their program by September.
