Scholarship Description
The Shawn Carter Scholarship is a fully-funded undergraduate scholarship available to US students; this scholarship covers all tuition costs and related educational expenses, such as travel, books, lab fees, and certain living expenses.
The Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund was created on the basis that anyone who is motivated and in need of education should be able to pursue it. The SCSF helps many young people and motivates youth to succeed in college by removing the financial burdens of going to college, surviving there, and graduating.
From admission through graduation, the SCSF offers individual grants to all students who qualify and reapply annually; the grant may be used for tuition and other educational expenses, such as travel, books, lab fees, and certain living costs. Shawn Carter scholars are expected to give back by performing community service or by mentoring younger Shawn Carter scholars.
SCSF is a magnet for candidates of all backgrounds; all of them have a strong desire to continue their education despite many socio-economic and personal setbacks; these include teen pregnancy or former incarceration, as well as poverty, homelessness, and interrupted schooling. These are individuals who are determined, hardworking, and resilient and who want to contribute positively to their local communities and the global community; they turn to SCSF in order to achieve their dreams and ambitions.

Shawn Carter Scholarship Details and Coverage
Shawn Carter Scholarships provide the following:
- Tuition expenses
- Additional educational expenses include textbooks, lab fees, and travel costs.
- Grants up to $2500 and up to $1500
Shawn Carter Scholarship Eligibility
Shawn Carter Scholarship candidates must meet all the requirements listed below to qualify.
- Required Language: English
- Eligible Countries: US citizen or Permanent Resident
- Students pursuing first undergraduate degrees:
- Seniors in high school
- Students with GED diplomas
- Students in undergraduate 2-year and 4-year programs
- Students who attend vocational or trade schools
- 25 years or younger
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Household Income not exceeding $75,000 US Dollars

How to Apply
Please follow these instructions to apply for Shawn Carter scholarship:
- After 1 April, please visit the official website.
- Complete your application on time. You have a better chance of submitting your application on time if you begin early. Also, you have more time for questions if any part of the application process is unclear.
- Share your extracurriculars with them and be specific. They won’t know anything about you until you tell them. You can impress them more by providing specific details; your essay can also be a good example, and your essay should not be too long, but it should help them understand you better.
- Check your application for spelling and grammar errors.
- It is optional to send a photo, but if you do, please send a headshot from the shoulders upwards, similar to a picture on an ID card.
