Scholarship Description

The University of Minnesota Fellowship is a fully-funded scholarship for international students; this scholarship is available for Masters degree studies; this scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, living expenses, travel, and health insurance.

The Sawiris Social Development Foundation announces the launch of the fourth round of the fully funded Yousriya Loza-Sawiris scholarship program for applicants requesting an MDP from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota in the USA.

The program provides candidates with the skills and knowledge they need to face the challenges of sustainable growth, including the spread of poverty, population growth, food security, climate change, and managing non-profit programs and projects.

University of Minnesota Fellowship Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the University of Minnesota Fellowship:

  • Required Languages: English
  • All World Countries are eligible.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in related fields of study or an equivalent from a reputable academic institution.
  • You must meet the requirements for admission to the MDP academic program.
  • Show excellent academic and professional track record.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills through extracurricular activities, community service, or entrepreneurial initiatives.
  • Show that you are unable to fund your own studies.
  • Students with strong quantitative and analytical skills and a liberal arts education will have the best chance of academic success at Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
  • It is recommended that you have taken mathematics, statistics, and economics.
  • English language proficiency must be demonstrated. Valid TOEFL and IELTS scores of at least 600 (paper-based), 200 (computer-based), or 100 (internet-based) (minimum 22 in each section).
  • No specific score is needed. 
  • A letter of employment from the current employer, including a salary slip/payslip or bank statement if you are unemployed.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Copy of valid passport page.
  • Resume updated
  • Transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate degrees (if applicable).
  • One personal photograph

  2. Review the Application Criteria: The application requirements can vary depending on the program. Make sure you have all the required materials and qualifications.

  4. Check application Deadlines To ensure that your application is processed efficiently we strongly recommend you submit all materials and your completed application at least two weeks prior to the deadline.
  5. Apply Now: Create a form, upload your credentials and transcripts, and pay an application fee.
